Food Day - Wednesday, July 20

Enjoy all the tasty fair food! From corndogs to burgers to strawberry
shortcakes - who can resist the temptations. After all, the fair only comes once a year. Put on a few pounds, or lose a few if you can.

Human Average Daily Gain (or Loss) Contest
Weigh-in Wednesday, July 20 from 8-11 am & 5-9 pm
on the New Barn scales (Don’t worry we’ll keep the numbers private!!)
Weigh-out Sunday, July 24 from 5-5:30 pm
Winners will be announced at 6:30 pm

$50 prize awarded for top Average Daily Gain
$50 prize awarded for highest % Body Weight Lost

Friends Day - Thursday, July 21

Best Friends Day – “BFD”
Thursday – July 21 on the Veatch Stage at 5:45 pm

Whether you are “BFN” (Best Friends Now) or have been
BFFL” (Best Friends For Life), renew those friendships at the
Davis County Fair on Thursday July 21.

Fun Day - Friday, July 22

Every day is fun at the fair…and Friday has a couple of special fun events!

Fair Egg Hunt beginning at 8:00 am and ending at 5:30 pm
Find the eggs and bring them to the Administration office for your prize.
(eggs must be redeemed on Friday only)
Write your name on the eggs and they will be placed in the drawing barrel to be eligible for a special prize awarded at 6:00pm.
(Must be present to win)

Cow Pie Jog 4:00 pm – Pavilion
Enjoy the challenge of running in the 1st Annual Cow Pie Jog in the Pavilion arena along with family and friends.
Age divisions to be determined day of event.
Special awards for 1st place finisher in each division and ribbons to all who complete the challenge. This will follow the 4H/FFA Beef Show so there should be plenty of cow pies to navigate. Participants must wear shoes; no flip-flops or sandals please.

Family Day - Saturday, July 23

Saturday July 23 at 1 pm on the Veatch Stage – Introduction of Families

Fair & Families go together like a hand in a glove. For 147 years family memories have been made at the Davis County Fair. Let’s make the 148th year special by gathering your family from near and far to participate in FAMILY DAY on Saturday July 23.

We are encouraging families to dress in matching color shirts and come to enjoy all the activities at the fair and also compete for top honors in the following categories:
• Most family members present living in Davis County
• Most grandchildren present
• Youngest grandchild present
• Family member present traveling the greatest distance to the fair
• Family with oldest member present
• Family with the most members present
• Family with the most generations represented

For posterity, your family picture will be taken holding the 2011 Davis County Fair banner.
Photographer will be present.
